Huaytara Archaeological Complex
This complex consists of a Catholic church and Inca Palace, the Baths of the Incas, where a series of channels are used to collect thermally heated water. The Inca Palace consists of a floor in the form of a trapezoid with walls 1.65 meters thick and 3.70 meters high. You can appreciate many characteristics of Inca architecture in their construction: recesses, niches, trapezoidal doorways, etc. On top of these walls colonial authorities built the Church of San John of Huaytará.
