Ichugan Archaeological Complex

This site is associated with the Yaro culture and is believed to date from 800 AD. It’s composed of circular buildings with braced interiors. Ovens discovered inside were probably used to make pottery. The site also contains a network of irrigation channels. From a lookout you can see the Chaupihuaranga River and its gorge.
