There has not been very good information offered about the transmission of the events on foreign channels. There was a report a week ago in local media that a Japanese TV station might be offering it live.
Yesterday, Radioprogramas del Peru reported that UNESCO has weighed in on the celebration plans and as a result, Peru’s government will be restricting access of journalists, that the planned fireworks display at the ruins was being canceled, and that if there is a concert, it will not be held in the Citadel.
In any case it’s a good bet whatever the festivities turn out to be, you’ll be able to tune in on Peru’s national public station via the Internet:
